The partnership was formed to bring together important actors that can help enhance the use of STEM education towards addressing socio-scientific issues and environmental sustainability. The partnership is comprised of one less experienced environmental organisation (ORGANOSI GI), a second less experienced organisation that has extensive experience in STEM education (INQUIRIUM) and an experienced organisation in EU project management (RESET). Additionally, the partnership is comprised of two primary schools, namely, PELENDRI PRIMARY SCHOOL (Cyprus) and 4th Primary School of Kamatero "Dimitrios Nanopoulos" (Greece) who will be directly involved in the staging and implementation of STEAM4SUSTAIN. The Associate partners are the CYPRUS CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION.

Participation in two E+ programs in Ireland, Iceland, Sweden. -Skills & expertise of key staff related to the proposal's thematic area Our educational staff, by participating in different programs, is quit familiar with this thematic area. However, they intend to learn more & cultivate related skills to their students. This is something that will gain through their participation on the current project.

"Center of the Earth" An award-winning hub for environmental education operated by Organization Earth as a functioning organic, urban and social farm, offering nature-based educational programs for all ages. It includes a seasonal organic vegetable garden and a biodiversity garden. Its goal is to contribute to resilience to climate change, through the adoption of a fairer and more sustainable local and global production and consumption, rooted in an integrated ecosystem approach. The specific objective of the farm is the adaptation and mitigation to climate change through more sustainable food production and consumption, in the framework of the right to adequate food for all. "Pocket Parks" Organization Earth, in cooperation with various Greek Municipalities, has so far created 20 pocket parks in unused urban areas, where we then offer workshops on sustainable lifestyles. Local communities, including the local youth are able to socialize, develop skills and learn about sustainability.

RESET activities focus on the design, development and promotion of topics including social inclusion, climate change, youth empowerment and innovation, integration of vulnerable groups (i.e. people with fewer opportunities). RESET has established effective tools and procedures for the following non-exhaustive list: - Design and development of educational curricula & courses for a wide range of target groups (youth, children, adults, low-skilled individuals, professionals, elderly, disabled) - Preparation and coordination of best practices toolbox - Design and coordination of dissemination, communication and sustainability activities - Organization of online and face to face events/workshops/ trainings - Design and implement Social media campaigns - Coordination and development of creative videos and documentaries related to the project. A core pillar of RESET's activities includes the implementation of open dialogue workshops to positively transform internal beliefs and promote gender equality, tolerance, critical thinking, social inclusion and instigate environmental behavior change. In collaboration with 'Ecological Movement of Cyprus' and 'Save your Hood-Cyprus' RESET launched a national environmental campaign with the scope of encouraging environmental awareness and active citizenship in relation to environmental issues. This campaign reached a total of 12,250 people on a national and EU level. RESET has been awarded as one of the two organisations responsible for the coordination and implementation of a national project-YoungCities with the aim of empowering young people to make positive and active changes in their communities using innovative learning tools and approaches.

We utilize innovative tools to identify constructive solutions to social challenges. One of these is the use of transformative dialogue to develop and promote tolerance, gender equality, religious and cultural diversity acceptance, critical thinking and social integration. RESET creates and develops tailored education to schools such as social integration, prevention of radicalization, addiction, social and creative empowerment and conflict resolution.

Pelendri is a rural primary school in Cyprus, located in Pelendri, a village in the mountain area of Limassol (the second largest city in Cyprus). Pelendri village has a community of around 1000 people. The school works in an All-Day basis and the school's kindergarten provides teaching services to children from 3-6 years old. The School carries out a plethora of activities related to enhancing healthy lifestyles, promoting cycling, educating on the historical heritage and finance literacy.
Pelendri Primary School is gearing towards aligning the school priorities and policies with the Sustainable Development Goals. An example of these efforts has been their recent active participation in the island's largest National clean-up campaign with the biggest environmental volunteering action across the island (Together Cyprus) that resulted in collaborating with 270 teams and 18,000 individuals to collect 145 tons of mixed trash and 41 tons of PMD in Cyprus

The Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education (CYCERE) is an independent non-profit organisation that promotes cross-disciplinary strategies in environmental research, education, and awareness. CYCERE offers experiential learning programs for young people and students to discover the ecological value of natural ecosystems and the critical need to preserve them for future generations. Within the STEAM4SUSTAIN framework, CYCERE collaborates with the consortium to facilitate hands-on community field trips and integrate innovative curricula into regional teacher professional development networks.
